Maine Taxpayers United was established during the summer of 2007 by members of Citizens Alliance of Maine, which supported the Maine Taxpayers Bill of Rights in Campaign 2006. We represent citizens who pay taxes in the Maine Legislatures and we support candidates who in turn support our Mission.
